    1. Service Description

    HookLab is a tool that uses artificial intelligence to draft text-based hooks (opening lines) for short-form video, captions, scripts and similar content. It is designed to help creators generate ideas, not to replace their own judgement.

    2. Plans and Billing

    HookLab has a free plan and a paid Pro plan. The free plan includes 5 generations per day (the count resets at midnight UTC) and 10 basic templates. Pro is offered as a monthly subscription (currently $7 per month, with a 7-day free trial) or as a one-time lifetime purchase (currently $49). Prices and plan contents may change; the pricing page shows what is current. Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancelling stops future charges and access continues until the end of the paid period.

    3. Refunds

    Refund requests are handled as described on the refund policy page.

    4. Your Responsibilities

    You are responsible for how you use generated content. HookLab produces AI-generated suggestions that can be generic, repetitive or inaccurate. Review, edit and fact-check them before publishing, and make sure what you publish complies with the rules of the platform you post on. Do not use the service to generate unlawful, deceptive or abusive content.

    5. No Guarantees

    HookLab does not guarantee any specific outcome, such as views, engagement or revenue. The performance of a video depends on many factors outside our control, including content quality, audience and platform algorithms. The service is provided as-is and may occasionally be unavailable.

    6. No Professional Advice

    Content generated by HookLab is not professional advice of any kind, including financial, legal, medical or business advice.

    7. Ownership of Generated Hooks

    You may use the hooks you generate in your own content. HookLab keeps the right to use anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve the service.

    8. Accounts

    We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

    9. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
